Sophie M. Behr joined the DIW Berlin Graduate Center as a PhD candidate in October 2021. Her research interests lie in climate economics and policy, and particularly include circular economy and carbon pricing. Sophie holds a BSc in Economics from the Leuphana University of Lüneburg and a MSc in Economics from the University of Hamburg and spent parts of her studies at the University of Bologna, Italy. During her studies, Sophie worked as a research assistant at the University of Hamburg as well as for an academic journal.
