Mats Kröger is a current Ph.D. student at the Berlin School of Economics. He holds a M.Sc. degree in Economics from Stockholm School of Economics as well as a B.Sc. degree from Humboldt-University Berlin. During his studies he spent semesters as a visiting student at both Georgetown University and New York University. His research interests lie in the fields of energy and environmental economics. In his master thesis he empirically analyzed the effect of a structural reform of the Swedish electricity market. He has experience from interning in both the private and public sector (i.e., with the Boston Consulting Group, KfW and Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs). Most recently, he has been working as a research assistant at the Stockholm Institute for Transitional Economics.
