Macroeconomics Department
Stephanie joined the DIW Berlin and the DIW Berlin Graduate Center in October 2018. After completing her bachelor studies in Anthropology (University Leipzig) and Political Science (Sciences Po Grenoble), Stephanie discovered her interest for Economics. She holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Economics from the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg. For her dissertation on monetary policy shocks she was awarded with the faculty’s price for the best master’s thesis. During her studies, Stephanie was working as research assistant in the department of macroeconomics at the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH). Before joining the DIW Berlin, Stephanie held a position as research associate at the Chair of Monetary Economics at Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg. Her research focuses on monetary and fiscal policy, and applied (Bayesian) macroeconometrics.
