    Thomas Siedler appointed to a W3 professorship

    Our SOEP colleague Thomas Siedler, Ph.D., was appointed to a W3 professorship at the University of Hamburg in the Department of Economics, focusing on microeconometrics. His position there begins April 1, 2012. He will remain closely associated with the SOEP and DIW Berlin and will continue collaborating on the BMBF-funded project BASE II (Berlin Aging Study II).

    In August, Daniel Schnitzlein has begun a post-doc position at the SOEP, after completing his doctoral degree in Economics at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg at the Chair of Regina Riphahn.
