Veranstaltungen der Abteilung Bildung und Familie

BIEN Seminare

Die Seminare des Berliner Netzwerks für interdisziplinäre Bildungsforschung (BIEN) finden vierteljährlich statt und werden seit 2017 von den Mitgliedsinstitutionen individuell organisiert. Die meisten Veranstaltungen finden in den Räumlichkeiten des DIW Berlins statt.

BIEN richtet sich an Berliner Nachwuchswissenschaftler*innen (Post-Doktorand*innen, Doktorand*innen sowie fortgeschrittene Studierende) aus verschiedenen Disziplinen im Bereich der Bildungsforschung. Vortragende der Seminare kommen aus allen für die Bildungsforschung relevanten Disziplinen. Die Seminare greifen Forschungsfragen der Bildung über den gesamten Lebensverlauf hinweg auf. Zu jedem Vortrag gibt es einen Kommentar von einer Wissenschaftlerin oder einem Wissenschaftler aus einer anderen Disziplin. So wird jedes Thema aus mindestens zwei Perspektiven betrachtet.

Rund um die Seminare ergeben sich Gelegenheiten bei einem kleinen Catering zu informellen Netzwerken. Alle interessierten Post-Doktorand/-innen, Doktorand/-innen sowie fortgeschrittene Masterstudierende sind zu den Seminaren herzlich eingeladen.

BIEN Jahrestagung

Das Berliner Netzwerk für interdisziplinäre Bildungsforschung (BIEN) veranstaltet jährlich eine Tagung, die am DIW Berlin stattfindet. Über zwei Tage dient diese Konferenz als Forum, eigene Forschungsergebnisse einem interdisziplinären Publikum zu präsentieren und mit Nachwuchswissenschaftler*innen und erfahrenen Wissenschaftler*innen zu diskutieren. Ein Programm-Komitee, das jedes Jahr neu zusammenfindet, organisiert ein umfangreiches Begleitprogramm, wie bspw. eine Podiumsdiskussion mit Vertreterinnen und Vertretern aus Wissenschaft, Politik und Praxis.
